Info.

One night I arrived home late and found my room flooded with moonlight. It was beautiful. I decided to make a film using that light. The next day I called two actors who were studying at Silvio D'Amico Academy, Italy’s best acting school, and they agreed to come to my house that evening. Once they arrived, I told them I didn’t have a script, so we’d have to figure something out together. We defined a story structure based on one of our favorite plays: Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, and we roughly pictured the characters based on props we had at home. The actors played with their roles, improvising and building, finding the line of the story second by second. It was like a jam session. We shot the whole thing in one night. Once they left I started color grading. Usually you would edit first, but I had to secure the specific color of that moonlight. In the following days I edited the film, and with the actors I re-recorded some dialogue lines I wanted to change. While editing I took a four-day video assist job in Bologna. During the days I worked and during the evenings I kept cutting. I shared it with the filmmaker I was working with, implementing some changes. After that I did the sound design and the film was done.
